Visual guide to the types of Nuvo Drop
When I was researching Nuvo Drops for the first time I couldn't find a visual representation of the different types of drop. So I thought I'd make one to help anyone else trying to work out the differences between them.
How to use this guide:
Each Nuvo drop has a square image dedicated to it.
The images contain:
- a close up picture of a fully dried drop
- a photo of the bottle with a dried drop sat on it (to compare colour of wet vs dry)
- a title explaining the type of drop and the particular colour photographed.
'Classic' Crystal/Gloss drops
Metallic drops - still called 'Crystal drops' on the bottle, but these have an obviously metallic finish.
Jewel Drops - partially transparent finish
Vintage Drops - less shiny than regular gloss drops. Often referred to as 'matte' but they do have a slight shine to them. These dry quite a bit darker than they appear in the bottle.
Dream Drops - Shiny like Gloss Drops, but with an iridescent finish. The iridescent Mica shows up on black paper, but is sometimes a different colour to the drop itself.

Glitter Drop - Shiny like Gloss Drops, partially transparent like Jewel Drops, and with glitter inside.
Stone Drops - thicker than other kinds of Nuvo Drop, with an obviously gritty/textured finish.
