Sunlit Lighthouse

It has been a long time since I last did a landscape painting, and it makes a nice change from painting characters.


The lighthouse is home to the main characters in Candle of Ice, but remains in use. The local waters are littered with undersea rocks, and a large channel nearby is used constantly by shipping traffic. The rocky outcrop behind protects it from the wild elements known to batter the coastline, and has kept the building standing through many stormy nights.
