Frosty Botanicals

Photos of frosty plants in my garden.

I shared some of these on my Instagram, but here are the uncropped versions, as well as some photos that didn't work with Instagram's square format.

Frost and frozen droplets on a Hebe flower

I don't know what these ones are, but they made a nice photo.

[Image ID] A spike of tiny daisy like flowers and foliage covered in frost. [Description End]

[Image ID] Close up of some leaves where the frost has created like a furry coat on top of the leaves and given them white edges. [Description End]

The cobwebs looked nice frozen as more intricacy is visible than normal!

[Image ID] Close up of a frozen cobweb with a close net pattern at the centre with increasing gaps between the strands as the web goes further out. [Description End]

Frosty Hydrangeas

[Image ID] Some frosty hydrangea heads. The flowers on the main head are mostly brown and green with white edged but odd ones have a pink tint to them. [Description End]

[Image ID] A close up of a single hydrangea head. This is brown but the frost has highlighted the edges and the veins on the underside of all the petals. [Description End]

A few propped up paving slabs and the moss growing on them.
[Image ID] Moss and lichen growing on the top edges of some propped up paving slabs. [Description End]

The webs and light looked very mysterious amidst the fog.

[Image ID] An illuminated lantern shaped security light with a foggy background behind and cobwebs going from the light to the bracket that attaches it to the wall. [Description End]
