Sunflower Cards

[Image ID 2] Close up of the middle card. It has 3 paper sunflowers with light stems and leaves. The centres of the paper sunflowers are sparkly and textured, which is especially noticeable on this card.[description end]

The sunflowers are
cut from thin yellow paper then ink blended around the edges and shaped to give
them more ‘life’. The centres are cut from kraft paper but I added glimmer
paste on top for more texture.

[Image ID 3] Close up of the left hand card. It has a single paper sunflower with a dark stem and leaves which enables the veins in the leaves to be seen. There are brown and yellow Nuvo drops (small round dots) in several clusters on the background.[description end]

The sunflowers are
constructed the same for all the cards, but I tried to vary the other design
choices. For this card I stuck to a limited colour palette of just brown and
yellow.

[Image ID 4] Close up of the right hand card. It has a single paper flower in the bottom left corner with shiny gold sunflower outlines behind and 2 brown stamped bees.[description end]

In this final card I used more of the stamps. The large corner stamp is heat embossed in gold, and the bees stamped with brown ink. The background of this card differs from the other two as I used the oxide sprays on Kraft paper.
