I recently visited Belvoir Castle, and took a selection of
photos featuring patterns cast by the ceiling lights.
It was interesting to see the differences the shape of the ceiling, and light itself, made to the patterns it cast.
[Image ID] In this final photo, the lantern casts a star shape pattern onto the ceiling. Inside the star is brightly illuminated, whilst its edges are defined in dark shadow.[description end]
