Inktober 2025: 15 - Ragged

Rock lighthouses – ones built at sea rather than on the coast - exist precisely to warn ships of ragged reefs near the surface, so I thought it fitted the prompt nicely.

The lighthouse in this painting is largely based off the ‘Bell Rock Lighthouse’ off the coast of Scotland which is the oldest surviving at-sea lighthouse in the world.
