Inktober 2025: 4 - Murky

This painting is supposed to be a mangrove swamp, and whilst those aren’t usually so dark and murky looking I thought the roots of the trees were interesting to paint. I like playing with light and atmosphere in my paintings but have often found this more difficult traditionally compared to my digital work. Therefore I was quite pleased with how the murky and foggy feeling came through in the painting.
